Kindness

Preparation: collect markers, get sticky tabs, and cut papers into long strips

Opening Song: If the Savior Stood Beside Me

Scripture: Alma 37:6

Lesson: to teach that little random acts of kindness can go a long way

Ask your children how it feels when someone does something nice for them, ask them what it would take to make them smile

Activity: Have your children help create "happy fortunes" take the cut up paper and have them write something that would make them smile and decorate the paper. Fold it up and place a tab on it that says read. Go somewhere and place them randomly where people will find them and can read them and as a family watch how happy their kind words makes who reads their "happy fortune"

Treat: go out for ice cream...why not y'all will be out anyway
